Every design is hand-made in a run of just 10 to 20 pieces, and never more than 100.
-
Our scarves are printed on both sides on 18mm silk twill, and hand-finished with the edges rolled and sewn by skilled seamstresses.
-
Every design starts as a drawing, a photograph or a flower by Aubrey Kurlansky, who works as an artist, a designer and a photographer. Like a Peacock Hidden in the Tiles began as a photograph of a tiled floor, and The Forest Sleeps began as the roots of an old banyan tree in a forest in Phuket.
-
Each scarf comes in a see-through sheer envelope with a hand-signed certificate of authenticity.
-
We print with the very best printers available, in rich, long-lasting colours that will not fade in time.
-
Square and long scarves, pareos, kimonos, dresses and men’s pocket handkerchiefs, many in the same designs.
